How a retractable truck tarp works
A retractable tarp rides on a set of bows that slide along a track on each side of your truck body. Run it forward to cover the load, then retract it to the front of the body when you need to load or tip. The bows hold the tarp up off the load, so it clears heaped material, and the whole system stays on the truck ready for the next run.
Because every Fragar retractable tarp is made to measure, it is built around your body: the length of the track, the number of bows and the size of the tarp are all set from your measurements.

Retractable truck tarps: common questions
What is a retractable tarp?
A retractable tarp runs from the front of your truck body to the back. It covers the load when you need it and retracts out of the way when you're loading or tipping. Fragar retractable tarps suit tipper trucks, trailers and hook bins, and are made in Australia for tough everyday work.
Mesh or PVC?
Mesh is breathable and lightweight, with excellent airflow. It's ideal for mulch, green waste, compost and landscaping loads. PVC is heavy-duty, waterproof and UV and weather resistant. It's ideal for sand, soil, quarry products and wet loads.
Hand wind or electric?
Choose hand wind for simple, reliable manual operation, or electric in 12 V or 24 V for fast, push-button operation.
What colours are available?
Eight tarp colours: black, red, white, grey, blue, maroon, green and yellow.
