Description
The locking lever holds the crank on the Fragar Group hand wind system so the tarp can’t unwind in transit or under wind load. It’s what’s known in the trade as a cam action indexing plunger.
A spring-loaded pin engages the gearbox to lock the crank in place. Turning the lever lifts the pin along the angled cam and it stays retracted, leaving both hands free to wind the tarp. Turn the lever back and the spring drives the pin home to lock it again.
The body and pin are stainless steel for corrosion resistance on a working truck, and the moulded grip is easy to operate with gloves on. The threaded body screws into the housing and is held with the supplied lock nut.
Suits the Fragar Group hand wind system for retractable and back-to-front tarps.
