Description
The driver’s side cover plate fits over the driver’s side bearing housing on retractable and back-to-front tarp systems, protecting the pulleys, bearings and wire rope inside.
It keeps spilled load, grit, water and road debris out of the housing, which helps the pulleys run freely and extends the life of the bearings and rope. It also covers the moving parts, so there’s less chance of fingers or clothing getting caught.
The plate is folded from a single sheet for strength, with legs that bolt to the housing. Slotted mounting holes make it easy to line up during fitting. Each plate carries a Fragar Group decal with our 1300 number, so parts are easy to reorder.
